Chalk dust, Cigarette Smoke (incl. second had smoke), Colds/Flu, Dust Mites, Dust, Stuffed Animals, Carpet Fibers, Exercise, Mold, Ozone Alert Days, Pests (i.e., cockroaches & rodents), Pets (animal dander), Plants, Flowers, Cut Grass, Pollen, Strong Odors (i.e., perfumes, cleaning products, scented products), Sudden Temperature Changes, Wood Smoke, certain foods, and anything else that may uniquely trigger asthma in other people.

When not controlled, asthma can cause:
- Shortness of breath
- Wheezing
- Chest tightness
- Quality of life to be limited
Be Active in Controlling Asthma:
- Know your triggers and avoid them
- Do not smoke and avoid being around smoke
- Exercise regularly
- Know your signs and symptoms of an asthma
