signifies the monarch's recognition that the

Christian Monarchy. The orb is only used during
a coronation. Other monarchs, such as Menelik II
for example and those before him, unfortunately
was never photographed at their coronation like
Emperor Haile Selassie was, hence no photos.

Prayer is the light of the soul
"There is nothing more worthwhile than to pray to God and to converse
with him, for prayer unites us with God as his companions. As our
bodily eyes are illuminated by seeing the light, so in contemplating God
our soul is illuminated by him. Of course the prayer I have in mind is no
matter of routine, it is deliberate and earnest. It is not tied down to a
fixed timetable; rather it is a state which endures by night and day.
Our soul should be directed in God, not merely when we suddenly think
of prayer, but even when we are concerned with something else. If we
are looking after the poor, if we are busy in some other way, or if we are
doing any type of good work, we should season our actions with the
desire and the remembrance of God. Through this salt of the love of God
we can all become a sweet dish for the Lord. If we are generous in giving
time to prayer, we will experience its benefits throughout our life.
Prayer is the light of the soul, giving us true knowledge of God. It is a link
mediating between God and man. By prayer the soul is borne up to
heaven and in a marvellous way embraces the Lord. This meeting is like
that of an infant crying on its mother, and seeking the best of milk. The
soul longs for its own needs and what it receives is better than anything
to be seen in the world.
Prayer is a precious way of communicating with God, it gladdens the
soul and gives repose to its affections. You should not think of prayer as
being a matter of words. It is a desire for God, an indescribable
devotion, not of human origin, but the gift of God's grace. As Saint Paul
says: we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit himself
intercedes for us with sighs too deep for words.
Anyone who receives from the Lord the gift of this type of prayer
possesses a richness that is not to be taken from him, a heavenly food
filling up the soul. Once he has tasted this food, he is set alight by an
eternal desire for the Lord, the fiercest of fires lighting up his soul.
To set about this prayer, paint the house of your soul with modesty and
lowliness and make it splendid with the light of justice. Adorn it with
the beaten gold of good works and, for walls and stones, embellish it
assiduously with faith and generosity. Above all, place prayer on top of
this house as its roof so that the complete building may be ready for the
Lord. Thus he will be received in a splendid royal house and by grace his
image will already be settled in your soul.

THE ORDER OF PROSTRATION
Prostration is an act of homage performed by kneeling and prostrating
on the ground in order to supplicate the Creator, the Lord God. This is
based on “Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God”, and “Hear the voice of
my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands towards
thy Holy oracle.” (Deut.6:13; Mt. 4:10; Ps 28:2). Such a prostration is
called prostration of worship. It is offered only to God. (Mt. 4:10). The
prostration that is offered to God should be done in spirit and truth.
(John 4:24)
In the Ethiopian Orthodox Church practice, the order of prostration is
divided into three.
These are:
a)Prostration
b)Kneeling
c)Bowing
Prostration: - Means touching the ground with the forehead.
Kneeling: - Means touching the ground with the knees.
Bowing: - Means to stoop the head in homage.
In the EOTC the moments of performance of prostration are:
a)While entering a church (Psalms 28:2)
b)When commencing Prayer
c)In the middle of prayer when one comes across a word that requires
prostration.
d)At the end of prayer (Fetha Nagast) Article 14:35-37)
During Sundays, Pentecost, Feast days of Our Lord, Our Lady, other
major holidays and after receiving Holy Communion except kneeling
and bowing, prostration is not allowed (Fetha Nagast 14:5-37)
There are two types of Prostration. These are:
a)The prostration, kneeling and bowing of worship which are offered to
God.
b)The prostration made before the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord is
prostration of worship to God. (Josh. 7:6; Philippians 2:10)
The prostration, kneeling and bowing that we perform for
a) Our Lady
b) Angels/Saints
c) The righteous and martyrs
d) The cross and icons
are carried out not for worship but to pay homage and give due honor.

These royal seals are from the reign of King Zedekiah, who ruled the

weakens the hands of the men of war who remain in this city, and the
hands of all the people, by speaking such words to them. For this man
does not seek the welfare of this people, but their harm.” (Jeremiah 38:
1)

Zephaniah son of Maaseiah to Jeremiah the prophet with this message:
‘Please pray to the LORD our God for us.’” (Jeremiah 37:3)

Sadly King and Queens, it seems that as time passes by, the SABBATH is
observed and honored, less and less.
I have noticed that even the basic courtesy of greeting and wishing
SABBATH blessings to one another is becoming more and more
infrequent. There are those who say that they uphold the SABBATH
each and every day, and to them I say "Great!!" - but still, JAH set aside a
specific day for HIS children to come together in spiritual rest, renewal
and reflection, and for that reason, we must never cease to pay homage
and serve due diligence toward honoring and observing THE HOLY
SABBATH.
I extend heartfelt SABBATICAL BLESSINGS to each of you and to your
families. May the spirit of the SABBATH live forever in our hearts, in our
minds and in our spirit.

Protecting the Throne for Himself.
The Seal of King David and King Solomon was still being used in the
Ancient Kingdom of Ethiopia (Africa) upto the late 20th century by
Emperor Haile Selassie 1st.
The emperors of Ethiopia (Africa) can Trace (Follow, Prove, etc) their
Ancient Lineage to the Bloodline and Family Tree of King David and
King Solomon.
According to the Bible and Hebrew history, King David and King
solomon are said to be Descedants of King Abraham and King Abraham
was a Descedant of the Noah and; Noah was a Descendant of the First
(1st) Man and Woman, which according to Genesis 2:13 were in
Ethiopia.
The Esoteric meaning of the Ancient Symbol known as the Seal of
Solomon is said to Represent the Authority given not only to the Chosen
People of God, but to the the Family of King David and King Solomon,
because according to the prophecies of the Book Of Revelations (and
others), the Messiah (Christ, Immanuel, etc) would be Born from the
Seed of King David.
This is why He (Christ, Immanuel) would be known as the Conquering
Lion of Judah, because all of the Descendants of King David that sat on
the Throne was known as the Conquering Lion and (King of kings).
Note: The Title was also preserved throughout history for a reason.
The Hand Symbol that the Emperor Haile Selassie 1st would always
display, is also known as the Seal Of Solomon (among other names by
many).
But even though I am a Rastaman, I have come to appreciate
Christianity (and other faiths, etc) because although its history has
some very negative aspects that may never be understood, but it also
has some very interesting aspects and principles that once followed can
lead to a person(s) living a fulfilled life.
I personally Love its connection to Ancient Africa.
Most Black People do not Love themselves because they do not know
how Glorious and Beautiful their history is and how close they are to
the Creator.
Throughout history we can see that most people cannot take it when
their religious points of views are contested and sone are willing to Kill,
murder and persecute anyone that does.
But they do not realize that when they do that, they are going against
the Fundamental Reasons for their Religious Beliefs.
I can so much but I will say this....
We must learn to coexist and practice it daily.

"The notion that the day begins right after midnight has it's roots in European
culture,and found it way to African societies via colonisation. Ancient and
contemporary African culture(s) recognise that the day begins at Sunrise,this
notion is reflected by the cycle of nature, mainly the cycle of the Sun.
In Nguni culture(s) Day is associated with the SUN,the term for day in the Nguni
languages (Isizulu, IsiXhosa, IsiSwati) is iLanga which literally means 'Sun'.
This is also true of the SeSotho and Setswana traditions,in SeSotho and
Setswana the term for day is 'Letsatsi' which also literally means Sun.
This is so because there is no Sunlight during midnight,and day begins with the
emergence of Sunlight.
Ancient Origins:
God the Creator in Setswana is referred to as Ramasedi, this is a combination of
two words Ra and Masedi, Ra means head or leader or father in Setswana, it is
also a term of address for an elderly man, Masedi is a plural of Lesedi which
means light,thus Ramasedi means 'The father of light'. Sometimes Ramasedi is
referred to as Rara.
This is God the creator known as Ra in ancient Egypt (Kemet), he is the
father/head of creation,he was also associated with light in ancient Kemet and
depicted as a Falcon headed men with a solar disc on his head. He created the
sun and placed it in the centre of the Solar(Sun)system to give life. Indeed
without the light and heat from the Sun Life would be impossible on Earth.
In the religious symbolism of Ancient Kemetic, Ra was depicted as sailing a
solar boat across the sky,he sailed his solar boat as the sunset on western
horizon in the evening into the underworld for '12 hours of the night',and
reappearing at the sunrise marking the beginning of the new day.

Greetings I idrens and istrens, a blessed and fulljoy day unto ini. I
thought I would explain unto I new idrens and istrens what
"Yeshua/Yashua" is within the scriptures. Please bare in mind all old
testament bible versions ALL originate and are all altered, often
completely mistranslated and misinterpreted versions of the Hebrew
Torah.
In the ancient Hebrew alphabet, only 16 letters of the English letters
soundings are in it. There is no vowels, there is no letter C, there is no
letter F, there is no letter J, there is no letter X and there is no letter Q.
The names "Jesus and Christ" is not mentioned in the Hebrew Torah as
there isn't letters to create the words.
The word mentioned is YSHWH (pronounced jYashwah). The English
word for YSHWH is "Joshua" and the English translation of YSHWH is
"redeemer". And there is more than one YSHWH/redeemer. At least 7
individuals within the scriptures have been called YSHWH/redeemer,
and there are predictions of future YSHWH's/redeemer's as a
YSHWH/redeemer is described as a crowned reigning King who is
either anointed by a high priest or elected by jYah himself.
H.I.M Jah Rastafari is ini current and forever more will be ini YSHWH. 3
more past YSHWH's are king Saul, king Solomon and king David. BUT in
the older version of the Hebrew Torah, kings "Solomon and David" are
actually unnamed kings, Sholomn and Dohd are actually descriptions of
the kings (Dohd is how David is spelt in the older version of the Hebrew
Torah and its pronounced 'd-oh-d' both d's are the same as the "d" in
dog. I will explain it all properly in another post). And shortly I will be
teaching ini the Hebrew alphabet and how to pronounce the letters, and
teach ini how to read Hebrew.

Did you know that Ethiopians discovered the science of stars?
A book on astrology attributed to Lucian declares that: “The Ethiopians
were the first who invented the science of stars, and gave names to the
planets, not at random and without meaning, but descriptive of the
qualities which they conceived them to possess; and it was from them
that this art passed, still in an imperfect state, to the Egyptians.” The
Ethiopian origin of astronomy is beautifully explained by Count Volney
in a passage in his Ruins of Empires, which is one of the glories of
modern literature, and his argument is not based on guesses. He
invokes the authority of Charles F. Dupuis, whose three monumental
works, The Origin of Constellations, The Origin of Worship and The
Chronological Zodiac, are marvels of meticulous research.
