No, Africa was not named after a Whiteman, that's a misnomer.
That's a desperate attempt of insulting the intelligence of our ancestors.
In the original Black Egyptian-Kushitic term, Afa is the planet Earth. Ra is the Sun king, and Ka is name of God; Therefore Afa-Ra-Ka means The Earth of Sun King and God.Ra is depicted as a male figure, Afa is depicted as the female figure,the mother Earth. Thus in anthropological terms, both Africa and Ethiopia are very ancient, Matriachal and Fertility Earth mother.
The ancient Egyptian word Afruika means "turning towards the Ka",or"turning towards the birthplace"or "motherland" of humanity.
