The Winter Solstice celebrates the birth of the son of the God Ausar, Heru, from his
virgin mother Auset. Of course, this concept was hijacked by the Greco-Coptics in their
manufacturing of the Christian religion.

The original birth of the God's Son by the Virgin Goddess symbolizes the period in the
cosmos when the universe is so aligned that your Will (Heru) is most connected with
the power of the Universe. You are Heru. It thus becomes a period for one to make
monumental changes in life, to bring Heru (whose name is the root of the word "hero")
into the world, and is the precursor of the concept of "New Year Resolutions."

As we are introduced to various  cultural experiences we have the propensity to integrate  a portion of the culture to
which we are exposed.  Cultural experiences lead to the same beginning as the source from which it comes.

Greetings...

InI love I people and embrace us in all forms in which we
come.  We are a highly creative, communal, sensual, and
spiritual people; and I sincerely hope that these cultural
depictions reflect a small fragment of us as we have
evolved in all places in which we currently reside.  Some
of the depictions may be unusual, but it represents the
reality in which we currently live.  It is up to each of us to
reflect the model we advocate and accept the fact that
not all of us will adhere to that model.  These pages are
meant to reflect the wide diversity of our people and not
to disrespect anyone.  The images have been captured
from a myriad of public sources and attempted to be
displayed in an honest and just light.  I sincerely hope
that each and everyone who views these pages is able to
extract the beauty and diversity of the people in which
we are a part.  Bless each and everyone of my people and
I ask that the Creator provide you the vision and sight to
see the light of his Creation.
I love and adore my African people ~  Malchijah

Bless!
